  1. Goods, Pricing and Availability

3.1.     We make all reasonable efforts to ensure that all descriptions and images of products shown through Our Site are as representative as possible.

3.1.1   Whilst we strive to present images as accurately as possible, we cannot guarantee that the colour you see on your monitor will precisely match the true colour of the product. We recommend referring to any accompanying product descriptions or information provided to get a better understanding of the item’s colour and characteristic. If you have any specific questions or concerns about a product’s colour, please feel free to reach out to our customer service team for assistance.

3.1.2.     The size and length measurements indicated on Our Site for products are approximate and may have slight variations. While we strive to provide accurate measurements, there may be minor discrepancies due to factors such as manufacturing processes or natural variations in materials.

We recommend using the provided measurements as a general guideline. If you require precise measurements for a specific purpose or have any concerns regarding the size or length of a product, please contact our customer service team for further assistance.

Please note that variations in size or length do not constitute a product defect, and we cannot be held responsible for any such discrepancies. We appreciate your understanding in this matter, and we will make every effort to ensure any variations are minimized.

3.1.3 From time to time, minor changes may be made to the products you order. As manufacturers constantly update and improve their products, small modifications or enhancements may be implemented to ensure better quality, performance, or functionality.

These changes are typically made to improve the overall product experience and should not significantly affect the intended purpose or functionality of the item.

If there are any significant changes that may impact the product's performance or suitability for your needs, we will make sure to inform you before processing your order. However, please note that minor changes, such as subtle design updates or improvements, may not always be communicated.

Rest assured that any changes made to the products will not deviate significantly from the original specifications or intended purpose. If you have any specific concerns regarding potential changes, we recommend contacting our customer service team for further information prior to placing your order.

3.2.  If the goods are described as "Gold" or "Silver," it refers to the colour of the material or plating used rather than the actual material composition. In these cases, the goods are not made of real gold or silver.

The use of terms like "Gold" or "Silver" is typically related to the colour or appearance of the product, and it indicates a gold or silver-like finish or plating on the surface.

If you are specifically looking for items made of real gold or silver (i.e. precious metal products), please refer to product descriptions that mention "Sterling Silver," "9ct Gold," or "18ct Gold" to ensure that the item is composed of these materials.

Where required/applicable all our precious metal products undergo hallmarking in the UK

If you have any further questions or concerns regarding the material composition of our products, please feel free to reach out to our customer service team for clarification.

However, due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. unexpected customer demand, extended manufacturer lead times, product discontinuation)  there may be instances where certain products are no longer available or temporarily out of stock.

We understand that it can be disappointing to find that an item has not been supplied or is not currently available for purchase. Please be assured that we are constantly working to improve our processes and update our website as promptly as possible in order to minimise these occurrences. This may involve contacting you through the provided contact information associated with your order. We will provide you with the revised price and give you the option to proceed with the corrected price or cancel your order without any penalty.

If you have any further questions or concerns regarding our pricing or product information, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team for assistance. We value your feedback and are always striving to improve our services.

3.6    All prices on Our Site exclude VAT. If applicable VAT will be applied to your invoice at the UK statutory rate (Currently 20%). Goods sent to business operating outside the UK will be exempt from UK Vat subject to various criteria being satisfied.

3.6.1 For business operating outside the UK (International Deliveries) local customs duties may apply. It is the responsibility of the recipient business to comply with the local tax and customs regulations of their respective jurisdictions. Any additional charges, including VAT and customs duties, incurred during the importation of goods are the sole responsibility of the recipient business and are not included in the prices displayed on our website.

At Jewellery World Limited we do not have control over these charges nor can we predict their amounts. We recommend that the recipient business contact their local customs office or tax authority for specific details and guidance on importation regulations, including VAT and customs duties, applicable to their jurisdiction.

It is important for the recipient business to ensure they have the necessary documentation and comply with any customs requirements mandated by their country. Failure to do so may result in delays in delivery or additional charges levied by local authorities, for which Jewellery World Limited cannot be held responsible.

By placing an order with us, the recipient business acknowledges and agrees to comply with all applicable local tax and customs regulations, including the payment of any additional charges levied by local authorities.

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding VAT and customs duties. However, it is crucial for the recipient business to conduct their own research and seek appropriate professional advice to ensure compliance with all relevant tax and customs regulations specific to their jurisdiction.

Please note that this statement on VAT, customs duties, and importation regulations for goods sent to businesses operating outside the UK is part of our website's policy and applies to all international shipments. Other jurisdictions or circumstances may have different regulations, and it is the responsibility of the recipient business to ascertain and comply with those as required.

5.2 Payment:
5.2.1  Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payment by credit and debit card, or by bank transfer.

5.2.2 Payment by Credit and Debit Card through our online gateway: At Jewellery World Limited we utilize a preauthorization process for credit and debit card payments. This means that when you place an order on our website and provide your credit card information, we authorize a temporary hold on the funds to ensure the availability of funds and validity of the payment method.

It's important to note that the preauthorized amount is not an actual payment, and the funds are not immediately deducted from your account. The preauthorization simply reserves the specified amount, putting it on hold until your order is processed.

Once your order has been processed and confirmed, we will adjust the payment to match the final invoice value, taking into account any applicable taxes, shipping costs, or discounts. The actual payment will then be authorized and processed for the adjusted amount.

In some cases, there may be a slight difference between the preauthorized amount and the final payment amount due to factors such as changes to your order, product availability, or additional charges. We will always strive to communicate any adjustments or changes to you promptly.

It's important to ensure that your credit card information is accurate and up to date when placing an order to avoid any authorization issues or delays in processing. If there are any changes or updates to your credit card details, please contact our customer support team immediately.

Please be aware that the preauthorization hold may appear on your credit card statement, but it will typically be released within a certain timeframe determined by your bank or credit card issuer. The release of the preauthorization hold is subject to the policies of the financial institution that issued your credit card.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding our credit card payment authorization process, please feel free to reach out to our customer support team for assistance.

Please review our full Terms and Conditions for additional information regarding payment methods, cancellations, and refunds.

5.2.3 Payment Security: We utilize a third-party payment gateway to process online credit and  debit card payments . Your payment details submitted through the online gateway  are encrypted and security measures are employed to protect the confidentiality and integrity of your payment information in accordance with Payment Industry Data Security (PCI DSS) requirements.

Payment Verification: Customers are responsible for providing accurate and valid payment information during the checkout process. We reserve the right to verify payment details to prevent fraudulent transactions or unauthorized activities.

5.2.4 Failed Payments: In the event of a failed payment transaction, customers will be notified and given an opportunity to resolve the issue. We may cancel an order if payment is not received within a reasonable timeframe.

In case of failed payment or difficulty paying we may also offer the option to provide your credit or debit card details over the phone for payment. This method allows you to speak directly with a representative from our team who will securely process your payment.

Rest assured that we prioritize the security of your personal and financial information. When providing your card details over the phone, our representative will handle your information in a secure manner and ensure that it is kept confidential.

Once your payment has been processed, we will securely destroy your card details in accordance with our strict data protection policies and with Payment Industry Data Security (PCI DSS) requirements.

This is done to safeguard your information and maintain your privacy.

We value the trust you place in us when providing your card details over the phone, and we take our responsibility to protect your information seriously. Our team members are trained to adhere to strict security protocols and standards to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of your data.

If you are offered a payment via phone, please have your credit or debit card information readily available when you contact our customer support team. They will guide you through the payment process and ensure that your transaction is securely processed.

5.2.5 Payment by Bank Transfer:  If you prefer to make  payment by bank transfer and have selected this option at the check-out stage, we will provide you with the necessary information to make the transfer once your order has been processed and our invoice has been raised.

Please note that payment by bank transfer requires you to initiate the transfer from your bank account to ours. This can typically be done through online banking services or by visiting your local bank branch. We recommend contacting your bank for guidance on how to initiate a bank transfer.

After your order has been processed and our invoice has been raised, we will contact you with the final amount to be paid. This amount will include the total cost of your order, including any applicable taxes, shipping charges, or discounts.

When making the payment via bank transfer, it is essential to include your order number or any other unique identifier provided by us. This will help us identify your payment and match it with your order accurately.

Please allow sufficient time for the bank transfer to be processed and reflected in our account. The time it takes for the payment to be received can vary based on the banks involved and any international transfers involved.

Once we have received and confirmed your bank transfer payment, we will proceed with processing and fulfilling your order. We will keep you updated on the status of your order and notify you once it has been dispatched for delivery.

If you have any questions or require further assistance regarding payment by bank transfer, please do not hesitate to contact our customer support team. They will be happy to assist you and provide any additional information you may need.

6.1. If our courier partner is unable to deliver your Goods because there is no one available at your delivery address to take receipt and/or cannot be left in a nominated safe place, the courier under these circumstances will leave a “attempted delivery card” giving instructions on how to rearrange delivery or where to collect the Goods.
