Delivery Information

Brexit – New Rules from the 1st January 2021

New rules will come into effect from the 1st January 2020 regarding the shipment of goods to countries within the EU territory. These rules have implications for both the exporter and importer.

Customers within the  EU need to provide a EORI number and will be subject to local duty, Vat and other associated importation charges. Jewellery World Ltd will not be responsible for any importation charges which are applied by the Customer’s local postal and  customs authorities.

Due to the added complexity of now  shipping goods to EU Customers and the added documentation this now requires we can only accept orders from EU Customers  of £ 250.00 and above.

It should be noted delays will be inevitable (dispatch and customs delays) and Jewellery World Ltd cannot accept liability for such delays.

UK Vat will not be chargeable on orders dispatched to EU Customers.

Please note we are in the process of updating our websites to take account of the new regulations. However in the meantime, EU customers should note that shipping charges to EU countries currently shown on our website are no longer applicable and new charges will apply. These charges will vary on a country by country basis and EU customers are invited to call us for further information. Furthermore our current website automatically calculates UK Vat on all orders submitted. EU customers should note that UK Vat will not be applied to their final invoice and therefore the Vat shown on their online order should be ignored .

Unfortunately, due to insurance restrictions, we are unable to supply goods to customers in the USA.

Delivery Charges
Delivery charges will depend on the nature and value of the goods ordered. 

Please note: We do not offer a next day delivery service.

Fashion Jewellery and Accessories (including gift boxes and packaging will normally be dispatched via a 24 hour carrier service (Mainland only) operated by Parcel Force or Interlink Express. Under normal operations delivery to UK  mainland addresses will be effected after 10am  Monday through to Friday. Our current tariff for this service to UK Mainland is £7 plus Vat up to 30kg (if applicable -see below "Free Delivery Service",) Each subsequent parcel in a consignment will be charged at £6.70 plus VAT.
Saturday delivery service is available at an additional surcharge. Before 10am deliveries are available. Please note tariffs for certain Postal Code areas within Scotland will be subject to a surcharge (please enquire) Contact us.

For high value items (e.g. Gold, Silver, Branded Watches etc,) we will normally use Royal Mail Registered Post (next day service). Tariff price is calculated on a weight basis in accordance with Royal Mails published rates.
We can offer our overseas customers  a number of delivery service options: Delivery times are dependant on destination. Tariffs are dependant on weight and Service required - please ask for details.

Order Cancellation
If you need to cancel your order* please contact us with your order number either by email or telephone 0161 834 5007.
(*we will cancel the order providing the order has not already been picked and packed)

Tracking an Order
You can view all of the orders which you have placed in the “Members Area” of the site. Once an order has been dispatched you will be able to view both the dispatch date and the order tracking number.

Returns Policy
All returned goods must be returned in original packaging.
• Goods that are not faulty but are not to the customer’s satisfaction must be returned in the original condition within 7 days at the customer’s expense.
• If you have faulty goods please contact us ASAP for advice on returning (0161 834 5007).
Please note we do not guarantee costume Jewellery and will not refund goods that have been worn. (Hairspray, perfume and general wear & tear may damage delicate items.)
• We reserve the right to charge a 25% re-stocking fee for goods returned withour our prior consent and for non-compliance of our returns policy.

Watches Returns

Please report faults to Linda in the Watches Department within 3 days of receiving the items (0161 834 5007).
If there is a genuine fault with the watch we will credit your account. We do not cover broken faces and discolouration.

Free Delivery
We offer *free delivery on orders over £200* + Vat in value to UK Mainland addresses. Qualifying order values exclude values for Precious Metal Jewellery, Watches, and other items which have been discounted or previously reduced. *Free delivery is offered on one carton only up to 30kg in weight. Carriage on additional cartons will be charged for. Please note: That although consignments containing items such as polystyrene heads, busts, stands, hats ,hat boxes and other bulky items may not always exceed 30kg , such items may have to be packed  in more than one carton to prevent damage. In this instance we can only offer free postage for one carton ( if applicable). Carriage on subsequent cartons will be charged for.
