What Does “Trade” Only Mean?
We sell to lots of casual traders and people who have not set up formal businesses: this is not a problem as long as the goods are intended to be for business or trade purposes and not for private use. As a trade customer you do not have the same rights as a consumer customer does. This could affect you if you wanted to return goods for example see T&C’s

Contacting Us
Please note at present due to the large volume of orders we are receiving we cannot accept telephone calls regarding orders that have been placed or regarding additions to orders. If you have any queries/questions regarding an order you have placed please email us and we shall get back to you within 24hrs. Please also email us if you wish to add further items to your order, however please note we cannot guarantee that the addition will be dispatched with the original order.


Minimum Order Value
Please note that the website is divided into three separate departments, each with their own minimum order value. These are: fashion - £100, gold and silver - £100 and watches £50. You can order from one or more departments in one order, provided that you spend the minimum amount in each department you wish to order from.

Our Minimum order values are as follows:
• UK £100.00* (£50 for watches)
• EU Countries outside UK £250.00*
• Other Countries £500.00*
We reserve the right to change the minimum order values without notice
*net amounts before P&P & VAT

Payment Methods
We accept Visa, Switch, Cheques and Cash deposits into our bank account (Phone for details 0161 834 5007)
If paying by cheque please make payable to Jewellery World Ltd. and write your name, address and telephone number on the reverse. Personal Cheques must also be accompanied by a cheque guarantee card number (written on reverse).
Please note that Jewellery World Ltd use Equifax Cheque services, a division of Equifax Plc, to guarantee your cheque. We will pass them details of your cheque. If your cheque is subsequently returned unpaid, we will inform Equifax Cheque Services and also provide them with your name and address.
Equifax Cheque Services will record this information and use it to decide whether to guarantee your present and future cheque. Equifax Cheque Services may share their information with their Credit Reference division and the subscribers to their Credit Reference division in order to:


* evaluate applications for credit made by you and family members of your household
* manage credit facilities held by you and family members of your household
* contact you to recover any debt owed
* prevent fraud


Security Statement
We use Protx payment system to process credit card payments. The Protx payment system uses a combination of established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Our internet facing web servers are certified by Verisign, this ensures that no third parties can impersonate Protx to obtain secure information.

Transaction security
The transfer of the less sensitive transaction details from Jewellery World’s website to Protx is encrypted and digitally-signed. This ensures that the information passed is secure and tamper proof.

Security for the Shopper
Any communication between the customer and Protx is encrypted to the maximum strength supported by the customer’s browser. The customer is also protected from fraudulent use of their card in a “card not present” environment, by their card issuer.

Data Storage
All data stored on Protx systems is held on encrypted and highly secured databases. Protx are regularly audited by Visa and MasterCard to ensure that their systems conform to the latest security standards.

Discounts
Extra discount are given for large quantities: for fashion items there is 10-20% off when bought in 12 dozens or more. For watches and gold/silver items the discounts vary from product to product and these are shown on product pages.

Delivery Times
• For orders including costume jewellery or fashion accessories please allow up to 2-3 days for delivery.
• Orders which consist of gold/silver items or watches and do not include fashion items will be dispatched within 3-4 days.


Delivery Charges
Delivery charges will depend on the nature and value of the goods ordered.

Fashion Items are usually sent out by Parcel Force 24hr. This is (from time of dispatch) a 24 hour after 10am guaranteed Monday to Friday delivery service to most mainland addresses. Our current tariff for this service to UK Mainland is £ 6.50 plus Vat up to 30kg, each subsequent parcel is charged at £6.00 plus VAT.

Saturday delivery service is available at an additional surcharge. Before 10am deliveries are available. Please note tariffs for certain Postal Code areas within Scotland will be subject to a surcharge (please enquire) Contact us.

For high value items (e.g. Gold, Silver etc,) we will normally use Royal Mail Registered Post (next day service). Tariff price is calculated on a weight basis in accordance with Royal Mails published rates.
We can offer our overseas customers outside the UK a number of delivery services: Parcel force Data post, Euro 48, Standard. Tariffs are dependant on weight and Service required - please ask for details.

Order Cancellation
If you need to cancel your order* please contact us with your order number either by email or telephone 0161 834 5007.
(*we will cancel the order providing the order has not already been picked and packed)

Tracking an Order
You can view all of the orders which you have placed in the “Members Area” of the site. Once an order has been dispatched you will be able to view both the dispatch date and the order tracking number.

Returns Policy
All returned goods must be returned in original packaging.
• Goods that are not faulty but are not to the customer’s satisfaction must be returned in the original condition within 7 days at the customer’s expense.
• If you have faulty goods please contact us ASAP for advice on returning (0161 834 5007).
Please note we do not guarantee costume Jewellery and will not refund goods that have been worn. (Hairspray, perfume and general wear & tear may damage delicate items.)

Watches Returns
Please report faults to Linda in the Watches Department within 3 days of receiving the items (0161 834 5007).
If there is a genuine fault with the watch we will credit your account. We do not cover broken faces and dis-coulourisation.

Free Delivery
We offer free delivery on orders over £200* in value to UK Mainland. This free delivery is applied to one carton up to 30kg in weight. However, items such as polystyrene heads, busts, stands, hats and hat boxes may not weigh up to 30kg but may have to be packed and sent out in separate boxes to prevent damage. In these cases we will only pay the carriage on the first parcel.
*Watches, gold & silver, or any items with bulk discount (e.g. boxes, chain etc) are not included in this offer.
